Karina Kou, AIA | Associate | Architecture

Karina joined MR in 2008 and was named associate after ten years with the firm. As a senior staff member, she is recognized for her exceptional technical skills and commitment to client relationships. She is a member of the AIA and holds a bachelor’s degree and a Master of Architecture from the University of Michigan. In addition to managing architectural projects from design through construction for MR, she leads the studio in creating and maintaining CAD standards. Karina’s key projects include a gut renovation to a Park Avenue apartment, a new office for a New York City financial services firm, a luxury residential apartment in Santa Monica, and retail rollouts throughout the US and abroad for brands including Phillip Lim and Trina Turk.
